No. PagerDeck works without custom rules. Alerts are assigned a level and delivered based on the urgency suggested by the sender. Rules are optional: use them to choose which messages stay silent, when quiet hours apply, or which alerts need your attention right away.
There are three plans: Pro, Business and Team. Pro covers your own systems, Business adds more systems, the email inbox and a longer history, Team adds shared alerts and defined roles. Prices appear only on the pricing page, so no outdated figure exists anywhere else.
For push on the phone, yes: delivery runs through Apple's service, and that needs a paired device. Without one PagerDeck still accepts alerts; they then stand in the history in the dashboard.
Apple only allows those with an entitlement granted per app, and on top of that the user has to agree on the device. As long as both are not in place, the critical level falls back to high - visible in the history, without an alert being lost.
Without a subscription PagerDeck stops accepting alerts. The time remaining is shown in the account and in the header of every response from the interface. Account, history, sources including their keys and paired devices all stay; once you pay, everything continues without setting anything up again.
Start with one iPhone and one source.
As SHA-256, never in plain text. That is why the plain text is visible exactly once, when it is created and when it is rotated. Whoever loses it, rotates - the old one stops working at that moment.
